Thanks Chalky for your good work and this VCs of the Regiment . There is a book called " SCOTLAND'S FORGOTTEN VALOUR" by Graham Ross ISBN 1899272 00 3 published by MacLean Press , 60 Aird Bhearnasdail, By Portree , Isle of Skye 1995 and this book covers the Scottish Victoria Crosses awarded to Scottish Soldiers or soldiers in Scottish Regiments too .
Last year when I was along at Balhousie Castle there was a relative of Pte Charles Melvin , VC visiting the Museum along with her grandson .
A friend of mine , Gordon Highlander of WW2 visits the Royal Hospital at Chelsea and he used to see ex BW / att KOSB Pte Bill Speakman VC in the Royal Hospital , Chelsea but it seems Bill Speakman did not stay there long !
Greeting Chalky...As a lifelong collector of all things relating to the V.C., including over six hundred books and a file on each holder of the medal, I appreciate all the work you put into this post. I have sever hundred photos of VC graves and have begun searching through to see what Black Watch I may have to post here.
At one time, my collection was the biggest in Canada and a few years ago I handed the files over to a local government musuem.
Thanks again.

I went and found the grave in Gerne or Kirenia as it was called before the Turks invaded. While having a wee dram in a local pub I was told about it and made a point of finding it.
Well looked after I thought.
Yours Aye
