    Armagh,

seems from documentary evidence sent to me that Al in Australia on 25 April 2008 - ANZAC DAY - was not wearing his Blue Bonnet and Red Hackle ! Should we put him on a charge ( form 252) ??

It would appear that he has contravened OOR standing orders. on his return to the UK i think he should buy us all a drink.

Mines a Whiskey, no not a tot, a bottle

served 1972 - 1985 with the Regiment then transferred to MPSC in Colchester

Guilty as charged, the bonnet was left at home in error, must be the alzheimers coming on, and by the time I remembered it was too late, anyway it was Pi***ng down

No excuse fined and reprimanded, does that mean I'll have to hand back my LS & GC ?

Joe & Willie, The Whisky is on my table waiting in Bundy, when you arrive you can have a wee dram or two.

    Phil,
Actually I was caught, but very early on in my career (1961),

    Weren't we ALL?

It was only when I went to Kuwait did my CO there tell me that someone? had obviously forgotten/overlooked my service record and failed to let me apply for it, the medal was eventually delivered by post, no pomp and ceremony.
