    Lester Blair Hill Skinner

    I am trying to trace if my father was in the Black Watch
    I have been told that he was a sargeant major.

    His name was Lester Blair Skinner born 20.6.1911 in Montrose Angus

    How can I find out

    Hi

    He was born Lester Blair Hill Skinner Valentine so maybe service under birth name. I have tried Find my Past under all permutations but to no avail.

    He married in 1931 under name Skinner and shown as a labourer
