I am looking for information about P/M Thomas Harley (Reg. No. 9005). According to "The Pipes of War" he was during WW1 P/M of the 9th Bn Black Watch. In particular I am interested to know when (year from-to) he was P/M of the Battalion and also his year/place of birth and year/place of death.
Could he have been related to P/M Alexander Anderson Harley who was P/M of the 7th and the 3rd Bn Seaforth Highlanders 1914-1919? Alexander Harley was born in 1876 in Sialkot, the son of Lance-Corporal Thomas Harley and Jane Harley.
