Now confirmed by death certificate John Mitchell was born on the 28th December 1885 in Swansea Wales and died on the 24th February 1976 at Camborne ,Cornwall. His son in law RR Johns confirmed that he was the same RSM John Mitchell MC DCM ,1st and 8th Royal Highlanders.
