Need Rons Advice
Hi Ron,
Someone has posted old photos that her father had on a Facebook Page. There are a lot of Red Hackles on show as well as a Chevrolet Blitz Truck.
There are cross key symbols showing which indicates 2nd Infantry Division. There is a staff car that has a 1BW 69 sign as well as a 42 / 73rd Flag
What.jpg painted on the door of the car. Have you any ideas on this?
This is another?
Cheers.

Chalky, I have seen that painted sign before but cant remember where.
The Drum Major with wears a Victorian badge on the dirk belt plate, and a George V1 sash. Looks to be early 1950s, both the 1st & 2nd Bns were in Germany 1952 though at different locations.

Hi Ron,
Both but prior to April 1952 Drum-Major Roy, Sgt. Erickson, 13 pipers and 8 drummers went to the 1st Battalion for service in the Far East.
