Celebrate Scotlandís annual Festival of Museums at the Castle and Museumís First World War Recruitment Family Day. Meet our First World War recruiting Sergeant and military nurse.Join in with dressing up, drills, training, and keepsake crafts. Clamber aboard a 1914 military vehicle and listen to the Pipes and Drums. Donít forget to explore the Museum with our First World War trail. A fun filled day out for all the family.
All Children under 16 to accompany by an adult.

The thought provoking glass exhibition, Unknown, is currently on display at the Castle and Museum .The glass army was created as an artist response to war; the conflict in todaysí world and the memories of past conflicts. Artist Alison Kinnaird MBE will talk about her work in glass. She will focus especially on three major projects - in the Scottish Parliament, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, and the 'Unknown' installation.
