Here at the Castle and Museum the Café has the perfect ingredients for the ideal Burns Lunch. To start the meal we present the rustic and traditional soup, Cock-a Leekie Soup. A hearty soup dish of leeks and chicken stock garnished with a prune. Moving onto the centrepiece of any good Burns' menu, the iconic haggis, also known as the 'great chieftain o' the puddin'-race'. Joining the haggis will be the traditional accompaniments of mashed neeps and tatties with a whisky cream sauce.
