    Louis Flood Lecture

    Dear Black Watch Association Members,

I think possibly the lecture at Balhousie on 30th April might be of special interest you. You may not have been aware but well know Perth Photographer Louis Flood spent 50 years photographing The Black Watch and City events in and around Perth. He covered all types of Black Watch occasions from party time to parades (including return from Pakistan), Aberfeldy celebrations, Depot and TA activities, Korean and Cyprus memories, sport and music, Balhousie Castle and the Museum.
On the evening of the 30th April Louis Flood, assisted by Col David Arbuthnott, will show many of those photographs and talk about when and where they were taken. You may well see images of events that you were present at, you might even see yourself, quite possibly a rather younger version though. This will be a trip down memory lane for many that served in or supported The Black Watch so please do come and join us. To book your place contact Balhousie, 01738 638152 option 1, the details are outlined below.. I have also included the details of a lunch time lecture being given by Lt Col Andy Middlemiss about Gallipoli which might also interest you.

Good idea Eddie I am sure that others would like to see those photos on BW site in particular those who live to far to visit the castle for the lecture, or have them on display for the reunion.
