    I have been informed by Patrick Clarence past chairman Transvaal Scottish Reg Ass.
    Post no 18. Badge worn on the kahki Tam-o-shanter during 1938 until the arrival of the 'Red Hackles' on 1st July 1938,
    signifying the affiliation with the Black Watch.

    Post no 19. Is a pipers feather bonnet badge with screw posts to clamp the large Red Hackle in place.
