    Christmas card sent from Egypt Dec 1941 with Murray of Atholl silk cord (now faded)
    Cpl 2731 Arthur S.D.Sharp 2nd Bn Transvaal Scottish, 6th S.A. Infantry brigade.
    K.I.A. 11.1.1942 at Claydons Trench Sollum Egypt, buried Halfaya Sollum cemetery along with six others from hie Battalion killed the same day.

    4th South African Infantry, he wears the springbok badge with Murray of Atholl backing worn by Transvaal Scottish (see post 10).
    The mark above the badge is not a white hackle but a scratch on the photo.

    Another 4th S.A.Scottish man, the belt buckle he wears I believe to be of the Transvaal Scottish.

    Transvaal Scottish card removed from an album, probably WW2 era. Tied with a Murray of Atholl ribbon, with gilt embossed badge to the front.

    TCMC Helmet plate 1909-13.
    Die-struck WM helmet plate with stout pagri pin.
    The Transvaal Cycle Corps were formed from the Transvaal Scottish bicycle section in 1905. in 1909 members of the regiment adapted three cars mounted with heavy machine guns the unit was then renamed Transvaal Cycle and Motor Corps. In 1913 it was renamed The Rand Light Infantry.

    Scarce silver plated officers Transvaal Scottish badge worn 1902-3 only.
    Mounted on a Murray of Atholl tartan swatch, lugs and cotter pin on badge are silver.
