    The 73rd Btn C.E.F. 1915-1917.
Arrived in France August 1916, served untill Vimy Ridge when due to its extremely heavy losses
it was withdrawn from the line with surviving personel being re-assigned to the 13th and 42nd.
Badges for this unit are hard to find, officers Maple leaf pattern with 73 numerals fetch 2.000.

ORs first pattern shoulder title, stamped P.W.Ellis Co Ltd 1915.

Forgot these 73rd ORs badges, they are a lighter shade of brown than the 42nd ones.
The cut badge is to fit a field service cap.
