Just voted for you Victoria and your volume 2 of the famous Regiment of the Black Watch ; 1899 -2006 . An excellent compilation of facts of the history of the Regiment and yes , even including the names of Lieut Patrick Wright Anderson , 8th Black Watch & 10th Black Watch and his cousin , Acting Capt James Bell Salmond , 7th Black Watch in WW1 , both from Arbroath . A good publication for the future historians too as well as regimental historians as the facts are well recorded in this publication . The book can be bought of course at the Black Watch Museum in Perth etc

    Best wishes Patrick W Anderson

I have put your voting link onto a Facebook Group called 'Proud to have served' etc. There are members there that don't use this Forum.

    Published by Tuckwell press 1999.
Deals with political and economic issues rather than military but lots of interesting facts.
Front cover shows 1st Bn Edinburgh in March 1913 just before leaving for Aldershot.
PM Thomas Clark on the left.
