    Hi Ron, I have this picture too. The blurry marks on it are the same. I thought it may have been damaged but obviously that is original! #46

    Spookycat, the badge with the hackle holder is for the pipers feather bonnet, note the long lugs looks like a 1980s J Gaunt pattern.
    The 1902-36 other ranks badge should not be mounted on a silk bow. Without handling the badges I cant tell if they are reproductions or not.

    Ron,

    The pipers in the top photo appear to be wearing badger head sporrans. Some sort of illusion? Any chance you could scan and post a high resolution close up of the pipers?
