Interesting picture of a piper with belt and dirk, Ron, but no webbing equipment. Is he holding somebody else's rifle?

Dear Andy, recieved your PC alright and I am glad to hear you are on the Posties,
and I hope you are liking them alright. What like pay are you getting and do you
think I should try them when I come home I am on a good staff billet just now.
I am on the staff of a furlough camp so you see I am shoving in my time cushy.
I am just getting ready to pack now and I expect to be home about New Years.
Do you think it is advisable to buy any civvy clothes out here? So dont forget to
let me know all about the moves. I hope this finds you in the best of health.
Form your old pal J McMillan.

There is only one James McMillan listed as KIA from the 2nd Bn.
Born Logie Stirling, enlisted Dunblane Perthshire S/6981 Pte KIA F&F 25/8/15.
It could be the same man?
