    Ron.
He was with the 1/2nd Scottish Horse Yeomanry.

    From LLT:
"17 August 1915 : dismounted and sailed on "Transylvania" from Devonport. Went via Malta and re-equipped as infantry for service at Gallipoli."

His later service, likey after wounding and reallocation, was the 1st Royal Scots, Labour Corps and finally the 14th BW.

    Cheers,
    Derek.

Thanks Ron That was probably the last dinner of the Irish company held, I am sure that the Queen Mother attended that one, there also was one held in Dublin not sure which hotel but the Queen mother did not attend. I seen a menu card for the Belfast re-union dinner which had been signed by those attending, I am sure Baluhusie Castle museum has one.
