    I see that the photo was taken by the firm of J & R Couper from Glasgow. They were renowned for being Victorian photographers. A lot of the old soldier photo's were taken by the firm.

    This photo is A1 (thats good)

    They still issued them to Bandsmen when I was in Joe, for those cold parades where the fingers froze on the keys , a wee bit like the buglers lips lol .
