    Very large photo clipped from a magazine pre 1908. Caption verso reads "Young musician in training". Embroidered RH on epaulette P1898 collar badge, Victorian crown on arm badge and belt buckle he is wearing white cotton parade gloves.
    The small plaid brooch he is wearing has a prominent St. Andrew.

    Another large clipped photo.
    2nd/Lieut George Mitchell. Joined 1st Bn 22/5/15 from 3rd Reserve Bn as bombing officer 'B' Coy.
    Accidentally killed by the premature explosion of a French trench mortar along with two other ranks killed and three wounded while attending a mortar class at Choques near Annazin 22/7/15.
