Silver prize shooting spoon by James Fenton Birmingham 1898.
Unusual design, the handle in the form of a Lee-Metford rifle with two shields and thistles attached to the but end and another to the barrel.
The left shield is engraved with a JS monogram, the right with the Regimental badge. The bowl is engraved L.Coy 2nd V.B.R.H. B.W. 1898.
