    Another similar to the last but the backstar and scrolls are white metal, and the Sphinx is brass.

    1st Btn SNOs glengarry badge white metal backstar and gilt overlay.
    Old lacquer staining to the gilt.
    Separate numerals are in silver. 1881-1902. But unofficialy worn untill 1922.

    Victorian ORs glengarry badge, arms of the cross cut off silver plated and brooch fitted.
    For unofficial wear on the slouch hat. 1899-1902.

    Victorian officers glengarry badge. Star scrolls and St Andrew are all in silver.
    There is a white metal oval under the gilt overlay to give a raised appearance.
    1881-1902.

    Victorian officers Volunteer Btn dirk belt plate.
    Silver seeded rectangular plate with burnished edges. Mounted to the centre a gilt Star of the Order of the Thistle.
    Mounted on the star a silver thistle wreath,within the wreath a crowned oval bearing the motto of the Order of the
    Thistle surmounted by a Crown. To the centre, St Andrew and the Cross in gilt, below the wreath a silver Sphinx.
    1887-1902.

    Four silver shooting prize spoons City of Dundee V.B.R.H.
    Various dates from 1900-1906. The first three are made by the famous silversmith
    James Fenton of Birmingham.
